Notary Fees

The following fees are set pursuant to Indiana State statue:

 

 

Service Fee
Protesting a bill or note for non-acceptance or non-payment, register and seal $2.00
Each Notice of Protest $2.00
Protesting in all other cases $2.00
Certificate & Seal to a Protest $2.00
Taking the acknowledgment or proof of any deed or other instrument in writing, for registration, including certificate and seal: $2.00
(1) for the first signature $2.00
(2) for each additional signature $2.00
Administering an affirmation or oath with certificate & seal $2.00
All other certificates provided under seal not otherwise provided for $2.00
Copies of records and papers in Notary Public's office, each page $0.50
Swearing a witness to a deposition, certificate, seal, and other business connected with taking the deposition $2.00
All Notarial Acts not provided for $2.00

Additional Fees

Mobile notary services to a home, business or other venue (except medical facilities) during normal weekday business hours starts at $40; this fee includes:

  • up to 10 miles travel – one way
  • two notarization (same location, same time)
    Additional travel/mileage fee based on distance. Additional notarizations are $2 per document (this price is based on one signer).

Mobile notary services to a medical facility during normal weekday business hours starts at $50; this fee includes:

  • up to 10 miles travel – one way
  • one notarization
    Additional travel/mileage fee based on distance. Additional notarizations are $2 per document (this price is based on one signer).

Mobile notary services to a jail facility during normal weekday business hours starts at $150; this fee must be pre-paid and includes:

  • up to 10 miles travel-one way
  • one notarization
  • up to two (2) hours of the notary's time.
  • $60/hr. each additional hour billed in 15 minute increments

Additional travel/mileage fee based on distance. Additional notarizations are $2 per signature (this price is based on one signer).

Emergency Airport Notarization: $65 travel fee + $2 per signature.

After Hours Fee: Between 8pm-8am add $25, Weekends add $15

**Additional fees may apply after hours, weekends and holidays.

**Discounts available for Police, Fire, EMS & Military personnel with verifiable, valid Service ID**

 

Basic Signing of Loan Documents:   $125

Pricing for loan document signing depends on:

  • the type of loan signing
  • number of signers
  • location of loan signing
  • time of loan signing
  • method of delivery/return of signed loan documents
  • method of receipt of loan documents
  • method of payment

Standard fees include up to 20 miles round trip.

Round trip travel:  21 to 35 miles incurs additional $25.00 fee

**Additional fee for after hours (signings that start between 7pm and 8am) $50 – $250

Some last minute signings or unusual circumstances may incur an additional fee.

Additional services are provided such as printing, faxing, shipping, etc

1st & 2nd Mortgage Basic Closing: $175 (up to 200 pages)
 

Additional Properties (loans) in one closing: $50 each

Large Package Additional Print Fee: $10 (150-225 pages)

Extra Large Package Additional Print Fee: $15 (225+ pages)

Replacement Package Print Fee: $15

Buyer & Seller Signing Fee: $25

Cash Purchases: $65 (up to 20 miles round trip)

Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC): $100

Debt/Structured Settlement Signing Fee: $100

Auto Loan Signing: $75

E-doc fee (includes printing 2 sets; E-doc fee applies regardless of cancellation or refusal to sign)

  •      Up to 100 page document package; $25
  •      Up to 150 Pages; $35
  •      Up to 250 Pages; $50

Document Pick Up & Delivery Fee: $40 (up to 20 miles round trip)

Email or Faxbacks-$25

Document Shipping & Handling Fee: $10 + carrier cost (FREE if Prepaid label provided)

Copy Fee (applies regardless of cancellation or refusal to sign)

  •  Up to 10 pages: $1.00/first page, $0.25 each additional page
  • Up to 200 pages: $10.00
  • Up to 250 pages: $15.00
  • Over 250 pages: $0.25 each additional page

Notary Wait Fee: (Will only wait 15 minutes past agreed upon time)

  • First 15 minutes: Free with advance notice
  • No Notice Given: $25
  • 16+ Minutes: $25

No Show Fee: (After waiting 15 minutes after agreed time): Full Price

Cancellation Fee: (less than 5 business hours notice): $65

Client Refusal To Sign: Full Charges

CURRENT valid photo identification must be presented by all signers prior to any documents being notarized.  Examples include CURRENT STATE ISSUED Driver’s Licenses or identification cards, U.S. Passports or military identification cards.

Regarding Travel Fees Fees are calculated with the following expenses considered: The Notary's time it takes to travel to location, fuel, vehicle insurance, vehicle wear/tear, E&O Insurance, courier fees (when applicable), advertising and other expenses related to operating a business. All fees are agreed upon in advance and will not change unless additional services are required. Economics does not allow for a business office. The notary must come to you or meet at an agreed upon location.
